LADLE (Library of Art, Deeds, Lives Extraordinaire) is an open library created by ArtsEd4All to record and share the art, deeds and history of ordinary people whose extraordinary lives have made a difference to their communities and beyond. LADLE is a place to consider the impact of personal acts in shaping our collective history.

The Library's name is an acronym is inspired by my grandmother's soup ladle. Whenever I use her ladle in my own kitchen, I am reminded of her home cooking and her simple ways. She used ingredients that were readily found, and she never wrote her recipes down, but her meals were always tasty, satisfying and served with love.

Imagine LADLE as a welcoming place for discovering stories that nourish, delight, comfort and challenge.
